Binder Mechanisms

The diameter of the ring mechanism inside a Filofax organizer varies depending on the size and style of the organizer. Smaller organizers such as mini and pocket will tend to carry a smaller ring mechanism, holding less pages while larger organizers such as A5 will have a larger ring size which will hold a greater number of pages.

The number of rings in the organizer changes per size as follows:

Mini - contains 5-hole ring mechanism.
Pocket - contains 6-hole ring mechanism.
Personal - contains 6-hole ring mechanism.
Slimline - contains 6-hole ring mechanism.
A5 - contains 6-hole ring mechanism
